Ryan was born on 11th September 2003, he bought sunshine and life to our family from the minute he arrived. It is no suprise that his name means "little king" as he had us bowing to his needs with his big blue eyes, a smile for everyone and such a loving nature. He loved being a big brother when Rhys arrived in July 2006.

Ryan was diagnosed in December 2006 with a rare degenerative disorder called Krabbe Juvenile Leukodystrophy.

He achieved a lot during his short lifetime, he loved nursery, school, spending time at Hope House, days out and many fun times were had. He made friends everywhere he went and illness never stopped him. His determination to live every minute was clear to see, he never cried or moaned and he got up every day with a smile. He made sure his presence was always known and his character shone through. His determination and fight for life gave us the strength and courage to carry on.

Ryan sadly passed away peacefully on Friday 16th April 2010 in our arms. A fighter to the end he bought joy to us everyday. We're so proud of all his achievements and to call him our son, a life that touched so many will never be forgotten. xxxx
