Story
On the 11th December, Lorraine and I will be joining the hundreds for the annual Hope House Santa Fun Run, at Alyn Waters Country Park, Wrexham, at 2pm (we’ll be walking though!). We'll be dressing up as a Santa and a Snowman to raise funds for my Nephew, Ryan Jones's Tribute Fund. Ryan enjoyed his visits to Hope House, they were always filled with smiles and laughter and he made many friends there. Ryan sadly passed away on the 16th April 2010. Our family are forever grateful for the care and support Ryan received from Hope House, and for the support they continue to provide us with as we face life without him. It costs over 4 million a year to run the Hope House Hospices, raising money in Ryan's name is a way for us to keep his memory alive whilst helping Hope House to continue to provide for other families with terminally ill children. A few of our friends have already completed sponsered events to raise funds in Ryan's name and before Ryan passed away I promised him I'd do the Santa Fun Run, now Lorraine and I are so happy that we will finally be able to do this for him, and Hope House too. Hopefully he'll be watching down on us and not laughing too much! Please sponser us, it doesn't have to be a lot, just £1 will do, any amount is gratefully received and will definitely help children and families in the future. Thank You. Andrea xUpdates

For Ryan, my wonderful nephew, who we miss every day. He was and still is an inspiration to us all, I’m so proud to be Ryan’s Aunty and happy I was finally able to help raise funds in his name. A huge thanks to everyone who sponsored myself and Lorraine, we certainly had a “fun” walk round, shoe laces coming undone, a little slip over the bridge and a bit of a sprint half way round to make sure we weren’t last would have definately made Ry laugh! Love you to the moon and back Ry. xx
