Story

On the 5th July 2014 myself and several others are abseiling down St Nicholas Church, Newport, Shropshire. We are participating in this event in a bid to raise funds for Hope House Children’s Hospice in memory of a local boy Ryan Jones who died on the 16th April 2010 with a rare degenerative disease called Krabbe's Juvenile Leukodystrophy which affects the central nervous system. “Action Stations, great fires of London!” we have taken on this challenge and will be keeping Ryan’s favourite Hero active, “Fireman Sam’s Heroes”. A Tribute Fund has been setup for Ryan and all monies raised for the Ryan Jones Tribute Fund will go to Hope House Children's Hospice to help them continue their good work. Hope House provides practical and emotional support to families who face the pain of losing their precious child, run solely on donations it takes £3.5 million a year to run the Hope House Hospices. Your donation would be gratefully received and will definitely help children and families in the future, it doesn't have to be a lot £1 will do.
